For most college students, whether its today or a few years down the road, the end goal of their educational investment is landing a job and starting a career.

Collin College offers a number of resources to aid students in achieving this outcome. Most recently, the school began providing access to the Experience Career Search App, a convenient extension of a successful tool Collin College students have employed since 1996.

Elaine Stewart, career services coordinator, answers questions about the new tool.

It’s an App? Does it cost?

The latest feature released this summer is the Experience App for mobile phones. The free App is downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. It allows jobs searches, saving of favorite jobs and viewing of upcoming events.  With an active account, students can upload a resume and edit their profile.

Students are encouraged to contact the Career Services department on their campus for more information as well as for assistance in career planning, job search, interviewing skills and resume writing.
