FOOD TRUCKS INVADE CENTRAL PARK CAMPUS

Get your food truck fix at Central Park Campus, with driving diners scheduled to visit the campus throughout the fall semester and maybe longer.

The food trucks, which started showing up at CPC in late August, are scheduled on a rotating basis with a variety of times and days of the week. Student Life Assistant Director Donna Okaro said the idea is to give the entire student body a chance at grabbing some grub.

The food trucks scheduled to date* are:
Smokin’ Jalapeños – 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 11
V.I.P. (Very Individual Pizza) Truck – 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 16
The Guava Tree – 4:30-6:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 24
Yummy’s Pizza – 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Monday, Sept. 28

* Schedule subject to change

The Student Life Department is working on evening accessibility as well.

While students and staff at Spring Creek Campus and Preston Ridge Campus got a summer treat with food trucks selling their creations for the past couple of months, Okaro said CPC plans to bring in the trucks all year long.

The trucks will park at different centralized campus locations. Check out OrgSync for more information on upcoming trucks and other special events put on by Student Life.
