WINTERMESTER REGISTRATION BEGINS SOON

Are you ready for Wintermester?

Registration begins Tuesday, Nov. 17 for this intensive mini-semester, which runs from mid-December through early January and includes a short holiday break. Classes include U.S. history, government, intro to humanities, general psychology and many more. You can see the full course offerings in the e-schedule starting Monday, Nov. 2.

The mini-semester is returning by popular demand after a four-year absence and is just the thing for students who want an extra opportunity to earn college credit. Organizers say Wintermester is beneficial for current students who want to get ahead in their Collin College academic plan, as well as for students who have transferred out but are coming home to visit with family. Those students can earn transfer credits to bring back to their college or university.

All three of the college’s main campuses will host Wintermester offerings from Dec. 14-18, 21 and Jan. 4-8. Students will get a short break in the middle – Dec. 22-Jan. 3 – so they don’t miss out on any holiday fun.

Be sure you are ready for Wintermester and check out all the course listings beginning Monday, Nov. 2. Register and pay the same day, starting Tuesday, Nov. 17. For more information, visit www.collin.edu/gettingstarted/admissions or contact admissions@collin.edu .
