SIGN UP NOW FOR THIS YEAR’S COMMUNITY COLLEGE DAY AT THE CAPITOL

Get an up-close view of your state government at work, when Collin College students, staff and faculty travel to Austin for Community College Day at the Capitol, Tuesday, Feb. 7.

Join more than 2,000 students, faculty, staff, trustees and administrators from across Texas as they meet with elected officials and tour the state capitol. This trip is available for all students enrolled in Collin College, but all participants must register by Feb. 1.

Those planning to go must register online and provide a signed liability waiver form to the Center for Scholarly and Civic Engagement, F102 at Spring Creek Campus, no later than Feb. 1.  There will be no exceptions made regarding registration and liability waiver deadlines. Prior registrations will not be “bumped” to make room for late registrations.

Online registration is available at https://orgsync.com/139660/events/1659202/occurrences/3860493. Be sure to follow all instructions carefully, including the submission of a liability waiver.

Buses will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 3 a.m. on Feb. 7 at the Spring Creek Campus. Travelers will meet at the atrium, near the flag pole side. The buses will depart at 4 a.m. and are expected to return to the campus at 11 p.m. the same day.
