HOLOCAUST REMEMBERED THROUGH PHOTOS

Take some time to remember the Holocaust with a pair of exhibitions mounted in Preston Ridge Campus’s J Building, Jan. 27-Feb. 16.

The exhibitions are free and open to all. An opening night reception is planned for 5 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 26.

The exhibitions are a production of the Museums Division, Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center. They will be available for all to see beginning on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Friday, Jan. 27 and will include reproductions of two of Yad Vashem’s photo collections, SHOAH: How Was It Humanly Possible?” and AUSCHWITZ – A PLACE ON EARTH: The Auschwitz Album.”  Learn more about the collections at www.yadvashem.org/yv/en/exhibitions/ready2print/index.asp#/home.

The exhibitions are funded by the Preston Ridge Campus Vice President’s Office, the Central Park Campus Vice President’s Office, Collin College Student Life and the college’s Center for Civic and Scholarly Engagement.
