CAREER FAIR CONNECTS VETERANS, EMPLOYERS

Are you a veteran looking for employment?

Find the right career for you with an employer motivated to hire veterans. Work somewhere that appreciates your service to our country.

Collin College will host a Veterans Career Fair, 1-4 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 22 at the college’s Spring Creek Campus Living Legends Conference Center. The event is free and open to the public.

Dozens of employers motivated to hire former service members will be on hand to provide employment information and conduct interviews with potential hires. The employers recognize the value of military service in shaping productive, responsible employees.

“Veterans bring important skills and leadership abilities to the companies who hire them” Arianna Gray, assistant director of Financial Aid for Collin College and a career fair organizer, said. “The employers who will attend this career fair know that, and are eager to meet our veterans.”

Some of the employers represented will include: UPS, NTTA, Embassy Suites, Legacy Texas, Liberty Mutual, L3, Ericsson, Thyssenkrupp, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, McKinney Fire Department and Frisco Police Department.
