Come grab a free bowl of chili and join us for Wild West in the Park, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Nov. 2 at Central Park Campus.
The annual event features free chili for students, faculty and staff, a chili cook-off (winners get a prize), a Crank Off (homemade ice cream), a bake sale, a pottery sale, and more. All proceeds go to student scholarships. Demonstrations on pottery throwing, chemistry of homemade ice cream and a tutorial of how Alka-Seltzer works (for settling your stomach after the chili) are just a sample of the activities.
