COLLIN COLLEGE CELEBRATES VETERANS RESOURCE CENTERS

VFW colorguardCollin College District President Dr. Neil Matkin recently welcomed guests at a reception for newly renovated Veterans Resource Centers (VRC) at Collin College. The college offers three VRCs which provide support for students who are eligible for veterans’ benefits at each of the college’s major campuses in Frisco, Plano and McKinney.

State Farm was a major contributor for the VRCs which offer a place for veteran students to study, receive information and assistance with educational benefits and support resources, and connect with each other.  Additional services provided throughout the year include workshops on topics such as finances, resume writing and interview skills.
