THE ARTS Gallery Hosts FOG. FLAME. SPARK. SPACE.Feb. 6, 2018- THE ARTS gallery at Collin College will host FOG. FLAME. SPARK, SPACE., a solo exhibition created by Julie Shipp, Collin College professor of art, from Monday, Feb. 19- Thursday, March 22. 

Free and open to the public, the exhibition features recent large-format oil paintings that reference natural occurrences in nature that are visually transitional, or things that cannot be permanent. This series is an extension of previous works that address the sublime forces of nature and reflect the temporal “quick flashes” of our time and existence.

A free reception will be held from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 22 at THE ARTS gallery. As part of the Art Café series, an Artist Talk will be held from noon-12:45 p.m., Thursday, March 1 in THE ARTS gallery.

The gallery is located on Collin College’s Spring Creek Campus, room A175, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. Regular gallery hours are: 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Thursday; 9 a.m-3 p.m., Friday-Saturday.
