Collin College and Hardin-Simmons University Sign Articulation Agreement

image of Collin Higher Education CenterMarch 07, 2018- Collin College and Hardin-Simmons recently signed an articulation agreement, allowing Collin College students to transfer Collin College classes to Hardin-Simmons University.  The university will accept up to 66 credit hours from Collin College students. Final transfer work is subject to approval by the university’s registrar.

The new agreement offers Collin College students the opportunity to transfer classes from a variety of disciplines including English, communications, fine arts, technology, science, social science, foreign languages, business, criminal justice, physical education and music.

Collin College’s TransferU office welcomes this partnership with Hardin-Simmons and seeks partnerships with other four-year institutions to facilitate students’ transfer.

Collin College serves more than 53,000 credit and continuing education students annually and offers more than 100 degrees and certificates. The only public college in the county, Collin College is a partner to business, government and industry, providing customized training and work force development. In addition, the college operates the Collin Higher Education Center, which serves 3,200 additional students each year in partnership with The University of Texas at Dallas, Texas Woman’s University, Texas A&M Commerce, Texas Tech and the University of North Texas.
