THE ARTS gallery Hosts “DRAWING THE LINE”

Rex Kare - Young BoyMarch 14, 2018- THE ARTS gallery at Collin College will host “DRAWING THE LINE,” a solo exhibition created by Rex Kare, Collin College professor and artist, from Wednesday, March 28- Wednesday, April 25. 

Kare is best known for his academic approach and mastery of the human figure in different media. He will relate his professional work with his teaching practice, which influence each other. Drawing, Painting, Silverpoint, and his well-rendered demos for his students reveal his process in varying stages and will be on view in this exhibition.

A free reception will be held from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, April 5 at THE ARTS gallery. The gallery is located on Collin College’s Spring Creek Campus, room A175, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. Regular gallery hours are: 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Thursday; 9 a.m-3 p.m., Friday-Saturday.
