Collin Theatre Center Presents “The Glass Menagerie”

November 15, 2018 – Collin Theatre Center will present the American classic, “The Glass Menagerie,” by Tennessee Williams, Nov. 29-Dec. 9 in Collin College’s Black Box Theatre. This is the second play of the Collin Theatre Center’s 2018-2019 season.

“The Glass Menagerie” is the iconic and heartbreaking story of Tom, an aspiring poet, who will do anything to escape his factory job and break free from his overbearing mother and shy, introverted sister, Laura. The play, first performed in 1945, highlights their hopes and dreams that Tom’s family members have not only for themselves, but for each other.
