Collin College will host the photographic exhibition Spots of Light: To Be a Woman in the Holocaust Wednesday, Jan. 30-Thursday, Feb. 28 in the J Building of the Frisco Campus, 9700 Wade Blvd. Jan. 17, 2019- Collin College will host the photographic exhibition Spots of Light: To Be a Woman in the Holocaust Wednesday, Jan. 30-Thursday, Feb. 28 in the J Building of the Frisco Campus, 9700 Wade Blvd. The event commemorates International Holocaust Remembrance Day which is Sunday, Jan. 27. Sponsored by the college’s Student Activity Fee Advisory Committee, the exhibition is free and open to the public.

A production of the Museum Division of Yad Vashem – the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, the exhibition features nine aspects of the Jewish woman’s daily life during the Holocaust: love, motherhood, caring for others, womanhood, resistance and rescue, friendship, faith, food and the arts. Each aspect is accompanied by a personal story, related in the first person.
