New Mobile App and Break-the-Bot Challenge

Earlier this month, Collin College District President Dr. Neil Matkin unveiled the new, innovative Collin College mobile app (http://www.collin.edu/event/). Thousands of Collin College students are now able to simplify their college experience with the touch of a button. Mark Garcia, Collin College dean of strategic initiatives, announced that a new Apple TV app, which will offer the latest Collin College videos, is coming soon.

The new mobile app was designed in house specifically for Collin College students. Tailored to the college’s culture, the app features elements specifically requested by Collin students.

  • Get answers to your questions in seconds with CougarBot
  • Simplify your day with a bird’s-eye view of your classes, grades, and GPA

  • Contact the Career Centers about internships or jobs
  • Share your cougar spirit with friends using 30 unique Collin College stickers (available now in the iOS version of the app; stickers will be available for download for Android users on the event website.)

Break-the-Bot Challenge

Can you break CougarBot? Download the app today at www.collin.edu/app and take the Break-the-Bot Challenge. Students who successfully break the bot will be entered in a raffle. Winners will have the opportunity to work with the Department of Strategic Initiatives to develop a custom theme for Cougarbot.
