THE ART gallery at Collin College

THE ARTS gallery Hosts Collin College Student Invitational

April 15, 2019 – THE ARTS gallery at Collin College will host a Collin College Student Invitational exhibition from April 24 through May 15 at the Plano Campus.

A select group of returning students nominated by a member of the arts faculty of Collin College will exhibit one or two pieces of their recent art works from all media. The artwork will be drawn from courses offered at Collin, which include 2-D design, 3-D design, ceramics, communication design, digital arts, drawing, figure drawing, jewelry/art metals, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and watercolor.

A reception will be held, free and open to the public, from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, May 2 at the gallery.  The gallery is located on Collin College’s Plano Campus, Room A175, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. Regular gallery hours are: 9 a.m.– 8 p.m., Monday-Thursday; 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Friday-Saturday.
