A Message from the Collin College District President

All of us at Collin College are saddened by events of the past two weeks.  Racial prejudice is a societal evil.  We should always speak out against it whenever and wherever it occurs.

At Collin College, we remain committed to our Core Values, and particularly the value of having dignity and respect for ALL.  We encourage our students, faculty, and staff to exhibit and practice the best of humanity as an example to one another and to our communities.  By doing so, we will achieve the college’s vision of delivering a brighter future for our students and communities.

None of us are immune from bias but we need to believe the best in one another and, more importantly, expect it and insist upon it from one another every day.  While some will choose to pass judgment based on their own set of biases, we must choose a higher path.  We at Collin College will continue to be an example of harmony, peace, fairness, and civility in our communities.
