August 27, 2018 – THE ARTS gallery will host “THE ARTS FACULTY,” a group exhibition of artwork by Collin College professors, Aug. 29-Sept. 26.
Most Collin College art professors exhibit widely in the area. The diversity of media and styles makes this show a unique opportunity for the public to view the professors’ work collectively and for students to learn about art courses offered at Collin. Those courses include 2-D design, 3-D design, ceramics, communication design, digital arts, drawing, figure drawing, jewelry/art metals, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and watercolor.
A reception will be held Thursday, Sept. 6, from 4-7 p.m. The gallery and reception are free and open to the public.
The gallery is located on Collin College’s Plano Campus, Room A175, 2800 E. Spring Creek Pkwy. Regular gallery hours are: 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Thursday; 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Friday-Saturday.
