Collin College Technical Campus Named 2021 Best Projects Winner

Sept. 17, 2021 – Collin College’s Technical Campus has been named a 2021 Best Projects Winner for Best Specialty Construction by Engineering News Record (ENR) Texas and Louisiana.

ENR’s annual Best Projects award program is dedicated to honoring the best construction projects and the companies that designed and built them in all 50 states plus Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico. Projects compete in 20 specialized categories ranging from airports to sports/entertainment, and a team of independent juries of industry leaders in design and construction judge the projects using five criteria including safety, innovation, and teamwork.

The 2021 Best Projects Winners were selected by an independent panel of experts from all corners of the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry that reviewed a total of 120 projects and selected 18 Best Projects and 29 Awards of Merit across 18 categories. In addition to selecting category winners, a team of judges has also chosen six finalists for ENR Texas and Louisiana’s 2021 Project of the Year. That winner will be announced at ENR’s Best Projects event in December. All winning project teams will be celebrated in Houston on Dec. 17.
