NEW COLLIN ID CARDS ARE NOW AVAILABLE, REQUIRED

Revamped ID cards at Collin College offer better access for students, faculty and staff.

“The idea behind the new ID cards is for students and faculty to have an ID card that is more functional,” said Student Life Assistant Director Anna Kessenich. “With the new upgraded system, students can swipe into on-campus events.”

In addition, the new cards have a magnetized strip that is used at campus libraries and a barcode on the front.

All credit students at Collin College are required to have a Student ID Card in order to use services provided by the college including the Collin College Bookstore, Career Services, computer labs, etc. The cards also feature bigger, high-resolution photos. Initial ID cards can be made in any Student Life office at the Spring Creek, Preston Ridge or Central Park campus for free.
