Collin College Hosts 11th Annual NTXISSA Cybersecurity Conference at Frisco Campus

Sept. 11, 2023 – Collin College is proud to announce its hosting of the North Texas Information Systems Security Association, Inc. (NTXISSA) 11th Annual Cybersecurity Conference on Sept. 15 from 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. This year, the event takes place at the Conference Center at the Frisco Campus, marking a significant milestone as the conference moves to this new location.

The mission of NTXISSA is to empower individuals and organizations with the knowledge and resources necessary to elevate their awareness of security and data privacy within information systems. For the past decade, Collin College has been the home of the NTXISSA Cybersecurity Conference at the Plano Campus, serving as a vital platform that brings together professionals, students, and anyone interested in cybersecurity. It provides unique opportunities for networking, education, and collaboration among the cybersecurity community.

The Frisco Campus, where this year’s conference will be held, houses the college’s IT Center and offers the Bachelor of Applied Technology in Cybersecurity program. Collin College proudly holds the designation of a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense, as recognized by the National Security Agency (NSA).

The 11th annual NTXISSA Cybersecurity Conference will feature an array of engaging topics, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud applications, cybersecurity, digital forensics, and the development of security programs, among others. Community sponsors will also contribute by hosting educational sessions and setting up booths with exciting swag and giveaways.

To attend this insightful event, registration is mandatory. Student admission is priced at $35, while general admission is available for $75. Conference admission provides access to all sessions, and attendees will be treated to breakfast and lunch during the event.
