EXPO HELPS STUDENTS CHOOSE CORRECT HEALTH CARE CAREER PATH

Health Science Career Info Expo adThere are a lot of different paths you can take on the road to a career in health care. The 2016 Health Science Career Information Expo is there to give you a little direction.

Scheduled from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 15 at the Central Park Campus Conference Center, the expo includes resources for students to learn more about various careers in health science. Students and the general public can talk with program directors about the benefits, challenges, requirements and expectations associated with the various disciplines that Collin College offers. The expo will include program overviews, academic advising, financial aid information and career guidance, as well as tours of the Cary A. Israel Health Sciences Center, Collin College’s newest facility.

Programs represented will include: dental hygiene, emergency medical technician/paramedic, fire science, health information management, nursing, polysomnographic technology, respiratory care, surgery technology, central sterile processing and the college’s continuing education health sciences programs.
