Cougar News spoke with Tiffany Goertz and Maria Rodriguez to get the latest information on the upcoming Technical Education Fair. Here’s what we learned.

What is the Technical Education Fair?
The 2017 Technical Education Fair is a showcase and opportunity for attendees to meet with department faculty as well as university representatives regarding Collin College’s two-year workforce and technical programs.

When/Where is it?
9 a.m.-1 p.m., Monday, March 27 in the Spring Creek Campus Atrium.

Who can attend?
The event is open to all students, alumni, faculty, staff and the community.

Is it free?
Yes, the event is free.

Which workforce degrees will be represented?
Participating programs include Computer Networking and Cybersecurity, Computer Systems, E-Business Development, Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Polysomnographic Technology, Graphic Design and more.

What is unique about this event?
Attendees will get to learn about how many of these workforce degrees and certificates can help lead to employment and career opportunities without having to complete a traditional bachelor’s degree.
