PSI BETA INDUCTS NEW MEMBERS

Twenty-one students were inducted into the Collin College chapter of Psi Beta, a national honor society in psychology.

The objectives of Psi Beta are to encourage professional development and psychological literacy of all students at two-year colleges through promotion and recognition of excellence in scholarship, leadership, research and community service. Membership is a high academic honor on campus and is limited to students who have completed at least one college course in psychology with a B and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA. 

The newly-inducted members are: Dominique Adams, Astra Bester, Michelle Borchardt, Whitney Boyer, Beau Houston Breeding, Lisa Cantu, Dulce Cristobal, Victoria Ferguson, Andrea Fuller, Jessica Galt, Kara Giglietta, Cindi Green, Yazmin Juarez, Megan Kendrick, Katy Nicole Lee, Flavia Lindo, Lea Maric, Daniel Morfin, Kendra Suell, Briana Tante and Jennifer Whisenhunt.

Officiating an April 19 induction ceremony was the chapter primary advisor Professor Patricia Coble with a special message from the Psi Beta National President-Elect Professor Jennifer O’Loughlin-Brooks. The keynote speaker, Dr. Terry Hockenbrough, gave a presentation on leadership.
