Book-In-Common 2018 Author Brando SkyhorseMarch 26, 2018- Brando Skyhorse, author of “Take This Man,” will visit Collin College campuses on Monday, April 9 and Tuesday, April 10. Free and open to the public, Skyhorse’s visit is the culmination of the college’s 2017-2018 Book-in-Common program which offers students throughout the college the opportunity to read a selected book, discuss themes and meet the author.

“Take This Man” is a memoir about a young man who grows up believing he is American Indian, when he is actually Mexican, and his search for a father as he tries to find truth in his mother’s fantastical stories. Skyhorse’s visit includes presentations, Q&A sessions and book signings.

Meet Skyhorse on one of the following days and locations:

    • 7 p.m. on Monday, April 9 at the Preston Ridge Campus Conference Center, 9700 Wade Blvd., in Frisco
    • 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10 at the Central Park Campus Conference Center, 2400 Community Ave, in McKinney
    • 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10 at the Spring Creek Campus Living Legends Conference Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Pkwy., in Plano
