Collin College Nominated for Employer of the Year by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce

Jan. 22, 2020 – Collin College has been nominated as the Employer of the Year by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce for its annual Frisco Number Ones Gala.

The Frisco Chamber of Commerce honors outstanding businesses, organizations, and citizens at its annual Frisco Number Ones Gala each year. The gala is attended by more than 600 of Frisco’s most influential business and community leaders.

In order to be nominated, a business or organization must have built a positive, fair, and supportive environment for all employees; exceeded employment standards and safety policy; and modeled integrity and excellent communication skills.

The college won the chamber’s 2016 Chairman’s Award. The award is given by the Frisco Chamber board chair to an organization that they feel has made a significant contribution to the community.

The chamber gala will be Friday, Feb. 21 from 6-10 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Dallas-Frisco Hotel, 7600 John Q Hammons Dr., Frisco.
