Collin College Health Information Management Program Ranked Fifth in Nation

Dec. 18, 2018- TheBestSchools.org recently ranked the 25 best online health information technology associate degree programs for 2018. Collin College’s Health Information Management (HIM) program was ranked fifth in the U.S.

Continually striving to provide the program with a forward-thinking, nationally-focused perspective, Michelle Millen, Collin College HIM director, serves as a commissioner on the Commission on Certification for Health Informatics and Information Management and is the former chair of the Council for Excellence in Education.

“This ranking is an acknowledgement of the commitment the program has to our students and the profession,” Millen said. “Our HIM faculty and staff are committed to providing relevant education through learning experiences that reflect current industry practices.”
