Stetson & Stiletto Scholarship Fundraiser Goes Irish-Chic

Feb. 4, 2019 – Collin College Foundation’s annual fundraiser is going green this year as the event takes an Irish twist. Patrons will compete in the Stetson & Stiletto Standoff trivia challenge, inspired by the Emerald Isle, to raise scholarship money for deserving students. Last year’s trivia challenge event raised nearly $220,000.

The fundraiser takes place at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 2 at the Plano Campus Library 4000 Jupiter Road, Plano, TX 75074.

Through the challenging and fun game rounds, supporters can make a positive impact to students and the community through scholarships. Last year alone, more than 28,000 students at Collin College applied for a scholarship or financial assistance, and through the gifts of generous supporters, the Collin College Foundation was able to award more than 700 scholarships.

This special dinner and trivia event will feature Irish music by The Tradition.  Of special note, two of the band members are Collin College alumni.

Sponsorship levels include the $15,000 Pot of Gold Partner, $10,000 Dublin Partner, $5,000 Blarney Stone Partner and $2,500 Shamrock Partner. Individual tickets for Stetson & Stiletto are $125. Scholarships created by this event will be awarded in the sponsors’ names at the annual Collin College scholarship banquet on September 12.
