Collin College Hosts Aga Khan Historic Cities Exhibition

Oct. 1, 2019 – Collin College will host the Aga Khan Historic Cities Program Exhibition from Tuesday, Oct. 15-Sunday, Nov. 10. The exhibition will kick off at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15 with a reception followed by a presentation at 7 p.m. by Samina Hooda, Aga Khan Council for the United States board member. All events will take place at the Frisco Campus (Preston Ridge), J building atrium, 9700 Wade Blvd. in Frisco.

Free and open to the public, the exhibition offers participants the opportunity to experience the beauty of culture and is part of Collin College’s year-long 35th anniversary celebration. The Aga Khan Trust for Culture’s Historic Cities exhibition highlights 27 of the numerous restoration, rehabilitation, and transformative projects undertaken in various parts of the developing world. The exhibition is sponsored by the Aga Khan Council for the Central United States, a governance body of a culturally diverse community of individuals who live in more than 25 countries around the world.
