Nov. 19, 2019 – The Art Gallery at Collin College will host a Student Open Exhibition from Dec. 4, 2019 through Jan. 8, 2020 featuring artwork from students in the Collin College Fine Arts Division classes. A reception will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.

Featured works of art will be presented in diverse media, including 2-D design, 3-D design, ceramics, drawing, jewelry/art metals, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and watercolor.

The technical skills and innovative approaches to the studio processes reflect both traditional and contemporary themes in art. 

The Art Gallery is located at the Plano Campus (Spring Creek), Room A175, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway. Gallery hours are: 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Thursday; and 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Friday-Saturday.
