Collin College graduate celebrates as he walks across the stage

Collin College Commencement Planned in December

Nov. 29, 2019 ­– Collin College will honor the Summer and Fall Classes of 2019 with a com­mence­ment ceremony at 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 13, at the Allen Event Center, 200 E. Stacy Road in Allen.

George Fuller, the mayor of McKinney, will deliver the commencement address. Fuller was elected mayor in May 2017. He is an accomplished business owner and co-founder of the non-profit Love Life Foundation. Fuller is also a member of the McKinney Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and a board director for Meals on Wheels. He and his wife have four children.

Collin College serves more than 59,000 credit and continuing education students annually and offers more than 100 degrees and certificates. The only public college based in Collin County, Collin College is a partner to business, government and industry, providing customized training and work force development. In addition, the college operates the Collin Higher Education Center, which has an enrollment of 3,500 each year in partnership with The University of Texas at Dallas, Texas Woman’s University, Texas A&M Commerce, Texas Tech and the University of North Texas.
