Jan. 29, 2020 – The Collin College Board of Trustees approved Dr. Roger Widmer as Chief Operating Officer for Collin Corporate College during its Jan. 28 meeting.
Widmer has a career in higher education that spans 30 years. He has held leadership roles with both private non-profit and private proprietary institutions.
Widmer has taught at both the undergraduate and graduate level, but primarily has worked in administrative positions including the presidency position at the Argosy University Suburban Chicago, Phoenix, and Nashville campuses, and Ellis University, also located in Chicago.
Widmer earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and earned his Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from the University of Sarasota in Sarasota, Florida.
