Oct. 1, 2020 – With a growing demand for customized training, professional development, IT bootcamps, and recruiting services, Collin Corporate College is growing to meet the needs of the local business, governmental and nonprofit sectors. Collin Corporate College announced the addition of Business Development Representative Jana Nixon and Business Development Manager Tom Turci.
Nixon will be reaching out to local businesses to help them assess skills gaps and offer solutions for skills development. Over the course of her career, she has worked with employers of every sector and size, from Fortune 100 corporations to local utilities and national restaurant franchises. She is passionate about equipping employees for success in the workplace and providing a competitive advantage to employers through a skilled and engaged workforce.
Nixon has presented seminars on topics related to human resource management and organizational development at local, regional and national conferences of the Student Employment Association and the Society of Human Resource Managers. She is trained in career development facilitation; the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator; Pacific Institute’s Strategies for Success; Strengths Finder 2.0; and True Colors Personality Assessment.

Turci joined the Collin Corporate College team in August bringing with him more than 25 years of successful business development, program management, strategic transformation, and Agile methodologies experience. He is adept in sharing and executing best practices for sales growth, fostering and growing relationships, driving operational efficiency, and creating an exceptional customer experience. Before joining the team, Turci created and led the eCommerce market program for Pitney Bowes’ software and data business unit and also oversaw global supply chain product fulfillment via the eCommerce platform. Prior to that, he led sales organizations and delivery teams providing information technology and professional services solutions for Genpact and Electronic Data Systems (EDS). His industry focus has primarily been in the financial and capital markets.
