Higher Education Closer To You: Construction Of New Campuses And Centers Continues

Renderings for the Farmersville Campus, Celina Campus and the IT Center at the Frisco CampusFarmersville Campus to open this spring ahead of schedule

The Farmersville Campus will open in Spring 2021 and offer a limited schedule of eight-week credit and continuing education courses. A more comprehensive schedule, including general education courses, as well as programs in business management, computer systems, logistics, supply chain management, health sciences, and other new workforce programs currently under development, is planned for Summer and Fall 2021. Continuing Education courses in Bookkeeping, ESL, Health Sciences, and Microsoft Excel will also be offered. Campus amenities include a library, a Center for Academic Excellence (tutoring), a career center, a testing center, a bookstore, and student and enrollment services. The first building is designed to accommodate 1,250 learners.

Celina Campus

Perched on the hillside with new neighborhoods on its west and south sides, the Celina Campus will open in Fall 2021 and provide courses for academic transfer as well as computer-aided drafting and design, health sciences, and information technology. The facility is designed to serve 2,500 students.

IT Center at the Frisco Campus

The IT Center at the Frisco Campus will provide students with specialized labs to support animation and game art, video production, computer networking, computer science, computer systems, cybersecurity, geospatial information systems (GIS), and the new Bachelor of Applied Technology in Cybersecurity degree.
