September 25, 2018 – Explore the complex cultural history and timeless architecture of Israel during Collin College’s next Passport to the World presentation, Tuesday, Oct. 9 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the college’s Frisco Campus. This “Passport to the World” event is free and open to the public.
“Israel: Crossroad of Cultures” allows the audience to travel along with professors Joan Kennedy and Gary Wilson for a historical view of the high mountain fortress of Masada and the intriguing archaeological site of Beit She’an. These ancient sites will come alive through fascinating lecture and striking photographs.
Passport to the World is a free event series led by Collin College faculty and staff members who have traveled to a variety of global locations and share their newly-acquired knowledge about different cultures, art forms, architecture, music, religions, political systems and more. The series will continue Nov. 1 with a presentation titled “Volcanoes Around the World.”
