Collin College Offers One-Day Music Faculty Spotlight

April 02, 2019- Collin College will offer “Music: Career or Pleasure,” a one-day music faculty spotlight from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16 at the Plano Campus Living Legends Conference Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Pkwy.

Free and open to the public, the event is part of the college’s Faculty Spotlight Series and will celebrate the musical talent of four Collin College professors: Jimmy Wallace, Michael Medina, Brad Cox, and Chris Morgan. Enjoy the musical expertise of OneSound A Cappella Choir Pop Group during lunch break. The event will end with an open mic session for student performances.

  • 10-10:30 a.m. “Music Business and Marketing” presented by Jimmy Wallace
  • 10:30-11 a.m. “Music Performance” presented by Michael Medina
  • 11 a.m.-Noon “Recording Technology” presented by Brad Cox
  • Noon-12:50 p.m. “Creating Music with Emerging Technology” presented by Chris Morgan
  • 1-2 p.m. During lunch break, music performed by OneSound A Cappella Choir Pop Group
  • 2-3 p.m. Open mic for student performances
