April 2, 2019 – Collin College’s Auteur Film Series for the 2018-19 academic year will conclude with a screening of Juno on Tuesday, April 16 at 7 p.m. in the Plano Campus Living Legends Conference Center. The screening is free and open to the public.
Juno is the story of an independent-minded teenager who, midway through high school, finds herself unexpectedly pregnant and turns to her friends and family for help figuring out what she should do. A study of high school life for a child thrown into an adult situation, it is an essential pick for this year’s Auteur Film Series theme, “Mavericks and Misfits: Outsiders in Cinema.”
Doors open 30 minutes before the film begins, and seating is limited. Some material may not be suitable for all audiences. The film will be followed by a panel discussion led by Collin College faculty and staff.
