Collin College Hosts Know Now: The Boo in Booze, Alcohol Abuse Prevention Fair

Oct. 15, 2019 – Collin College Counseling Services along with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) will sponsor Know Now: The BOO in Booze, a Halloween-themed educational fair about alcohol abuse prevention, at four locations on the following dates.

The fair will be hosted from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Oct. 28 at the McKinney Campus (Central Park) Atrium, 2200 W. University Drive; Oct. 29 at the Plano Campus (Spring Creek) Atrium, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway; Oct. 30 at the Frisco Campus (Preston Ridge) Founders Hall, 9700 Wade Blvd.; and Oct. 31 at Courtyard Center Atrium, 4800 Preston Park Blvd. in Plano.

The fair will feature activities and resources to discourage drinking and driving. Organizations that will be involved include Mothers Against Drunk Driving, North Texas Poison Control, Collin College Police Department, student organizations, and more. The participating organizations will have Halloween-themed interactive tables.
