Collin Theatre Center Presents “Cinderella Panto”

Nov. 21, 2019 – Collin Theatre Center will present a treat for the whole family with “Cinderella Panto,” an interactive fairy tale, Dec. 5-8 and 11-15 at the Collin College Plano Campus (Spring Creek).  Tickets are on sale now.

“Cinderella Panto” takes a pantomime approach to the timeless tale of a Cinderella, good-natured girl surrounded by spoiled, stupid stepsisters and a cruel, conniving stepmother who plot to deny her happiness. Add a fairy godmother with “a degree in organizing girly nights out” and mix liberally with a cast of crazy supporting characters, and you have this lively show.

Fun for the whole family, “Cinderella Panto” reimagines the classic fairy tale with a few modern twists, a lot of laughs, and a sizeable helping of crowd participation. It makes an excellent winter treat for parents and children alike.

The play is part of Collin College’s year-long 35th anniversary celebration.

Evening performances with 7:30 p.m. start times are planned for Dec. 5-7 and 11-14. Weekend matinee performances starting at 2:15 p.m. are scheduled for Dec. 8, 14, and 15. Tickets are $10-$15 and can be purchased at https://collin.universitytickets.com/.

The play will be presented in the Black Box Theatre at the Collin College Plano Campus (Spring Creek), 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.
