New Collin College Vet Tech Program to Hold Virtual Information Sessions

April 7, 2020 – Collin College will offer virtual information sessions for the new Veterinary Technology associate degree program in April. The online sessions will occur from 6-7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15; from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 16; and from 4-5 p.m. on Friday, April 17.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about admissions criteria, program expectations, career options, curriculum, and pre-requisites for the college’s new Veterinary Technology program which will be located at the new Wylie Campus opening this fall.

According to Dr. Sabrina Cummings, Collin College director of Veterinary Technology, students in this program will become proficient in essential skills dictated by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).

“We are thrilled to offer our first information sessions for the new Veterinary Technology program,” Cummings said. “This program offers cutting-edge technology and hands-on opportunities in an innovative learning environment.”
