Journey to Ancient Peruvian Sites with Passport to the World

Sept. 11, 2019 – Explore the wondrous country of Peru with Collin College’s next Passport to the World lecture, 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24 in Abernathy Hall at the McKinney Campus (Central Park). The event is free and open to the public.

Join Professor Catie Brooks as she discusses new efforts in Peru to support tourism at ancient sites. She will also share photographs of different age-old locations, such as the Maras Salt Mines, Machu Picchu, the Rainbow Mountain, and more.

Passport to the World is a free event series led by Collin College faculty and staff members who have traveled to a variety of global locations and share their newly acquired knowledge about the local history, different cultures, art forms, architecture, religions, political systems, and more.
