New identification cards are coming to Collin College.
“The idea behind the new ID cards is for students and faculty to have an ID card that is more functional,” explained Student Life Assistant Director Anna Kessenich. “With the new upgraded system, students can swipe into on-campus events.”
The new cards will also have a magnetic strip and can be used at the library. The current card has a sticker for library use but the new card will have a barcode on the front.
The cards also feature bigger, high-resolution photos. All students, faculty and staff should get new IDs made once it is available at the Student Life offices at the Spring Creek, Preston Ridge and Central Park Campuses. Watch your email for more upcoming news about ID cards.
